Lodoredeilibri7: Have we been your personal experiences that have inspired the writing of the series ?
Jay: There is always a little bit of truth throughout my fiction. I write about things I like and I try and leave some lessons I've learned myself in each book. Also I am a tattooed girl and I love me some tattooed boys so I wanted to make sure I told that part of the books as honestly and real as possible.
Lodoredeilibri7: Among the tattoos of various characters , there is one that really you have?
Jay: Their tattoos are more often than not based on ones I already have. I have a snake, I have a sacred heart, I have lots of flames...I have several Day of the Dead skulls...And sometimes they have stuff I would love to have like Rowdy's sea monster and pirate ship...I just don't have any room for that!

Jay: Catcher in the Rye....but in romance I love any and all Kristen Ashley books.
Lodoredeilibri7: Who is your favorite protagonist? (The Tattoo Series)
Jay:I love them all for different reasons..but Asa is the one I'm the most attached to. I think that's because I spent 5 books watching him grow and become the man he was always meant to be...plus I like his smart mouth.
Lodoredeilibri7: Did you expect the Success Had in Italy ? What would you say to your Italian readers ?
Jay: I'm always surprised how many people love my books...no matter where they are from. I'm so honored and humbled that my words have made it so far around the world.
I would tell my Italian readers thank you...and to keep reading. I would also tell them I LOVED Rome when I was there and that I can't wait to come back and see more of the country. It was really stunning!

Lodoredeilibri7: Ci sono state esperienze personali tue che ti hanno ispirato la stesura della
serie?
Jay: C'è sempre un po ' di verità in tutta la mia finzione. Scrivo di cose che mi piaciono e cerco di trasmettere alcune lezioni che ho imparato in ogni libro. Anche io sono una ragazza tatuata ed amo i ragazzi tatuati, così ho voluto fare in modo di rendere quella parte dei libri più onesta e veritiera possibile.
Lodoredeilibri7: C’è qualche tuo tatuaggio che porta anche qualche
protagonista?
Jay: I loro tatuaggi sempre più spesso si basano su quelli che ho. Ho un serpente, ho un sacro cuore, ho un sacco di fiamme, ho diversi teschi e a volte hanno tatuaggi che mi piacerebbe avere, come il mostro marino o la nave pirata di Rowdy ... solo che non ho spazio per questo!

L: Il tuo protagonista maschile e femminile preferito della
Tattoo series?
Jay: Li amo tutti per diverse ragioni, ma Asa è il personaggio a cui io sono più attaccata. Penso che sia perché ho trascorso 5 libri a vederlo crescere e diventare l'uomo che è stato concepito per essere, in più mi piace la sua intelligenza
L:Ti aspettavi il successo che hai avuto in Italia? Cosa vorresti dire alle tue lettrici italiane?
Jay: Sono sempre sorpresa di quante persone amino i miei libri... Non importa da dove vengano. Sono così onorata che le mie parole hanno fatto finora il giro di tutto il mondo. Vorrei dire ai miei lettori italiani grazie e continuate a leggere. Vorrei anche dire loro che ho adorato Roma quando ero lì e che non vedo l'ora di tornare e vedere di più la città. E 'stato davvero sorprendente!
